On March 6th, 7th & 8th Stiebel Eltron India Participated in D/code, at the Dome , Worli . It is India's only curated luxury living show. The show was curated by architects Krupa Zubin and Zubin Zainuddin of ZZ Architects . It brings together, innovators in the design and decor industry from across the globe with their artistic design creations . The show was strictly by invite only and had only the elite attending it. Stiebel Eltron India was proud to be associated with this event and showcased various ranges like tankless water heaters, heat pumps, renewable technology, ventilation , water filtration, space and under floor heating at its internationally designed 18 sq mtrs stall. The Stiebel Eltron stall attracted more than 5000 footfalls. The architects ,designers and customers alike were excited to see the full range offerings in different segments of Home Comfort. Stiebel Eltron India is thankful to all its patrons visiting the stall and making this show a huge success.

Stiebel Eltron achieves record turnover in 2017
The heat technology producer Stiebel Eltron has reported the highest turnover in the company’s 93-year history: the internationally active German group of companies with headquarters in Holzminden, broke through the 500-million-euro mark for the first time. “This is a fantastic success of which we are very proud,” said managing director Dr Nicholas Matten. “Half a billion had become almost a magical threshold, which we have finally exceeded as we near the end of the year. I want to thank all our employees, who made it possible for us to celebrate today,” added Dr Kai Schiefelbein. The company’s former record turnover was 483 million euros in 2012, its second highest turnover was 478 million euros in 2016. The increase in the last twelve months is based on growth in all relevant business units: the renewable energy division with heat-pump heating systems and air-conditioning systems, and the water-heating division with instantaneous water heaters, small and floor-standing storage heaters. “What’s more, we experienced growth in both our home market in Germany and internationally,” said Dr Matten. The final balance of accounts for 2017 will be confirmed at the end of the first quarter of 2018.

Ludhiana - Stylish Bath Showroom Opening
In July 2018, Dr Nicholas Matten, Group Managing Director for Stiebel Eltron worldwide, along with Mr Sandeep Surana, MD Stiebel Eltron India, inaugurated the first Stiebel Eltron display of around 350 sq feet at Stylish Bath, Ludhiana. Ludhiana is a city in the state of Punjab, North India.
The city is famous for wealthy expats and superior taste for luxury home products.
Mr Pankaj Jain, owner of Stylish Bath and veteran in the home décor business for around 30 years, welcomed Dr Matten with his family and showroom team.
The showroom inauguration was followed by Stiebel Eltron’s launch event in the evening for 30 prominent architect families at an upscale hotel hosted by Stiebel Eltron India & Stylish Bath.
Dr Nicholas Matten, guest of honour for the event, gave the opening speech and welcomed all sharing his valuable experiences at Stiebel Eltron globally and the company’s future commitment and expansion plans in India.
The event was very special with couple and family rejuvenation games which were arranged for the architects and their families followed by cocktails and dinner. It created an informal atmosphere for bonding which was eagerly welcomed and much appreciated by the fraternity. The guests were given customised photo frames with their family & Dr Matten’s picture, as a departing momento.
North East India - Showroom Inaugurations and Press Meetings

Stiebel Eltron is rapidly expanding its distribution network in India and building the Stiebel Eltron brand to provide world class products and care-free services to Indian consumers. Continuing international expansion: new regional subsidiary
The Stiebel Eltron Group has established an Indian subsidiary together with a local partner. Stiebel Eltron India Private Limited has its headquarters in Pune, a city south-east of Mumbai with a population of six million. Pune is regarded as the hub for German industry in India and is an important university city. Group managing director Dr Nicholas Matten and Sandeep Surana, who is based in India, will assume management of the subsidiary. Six further staff will be employed to start with at the Indian subsidiary of the German specialist for heating technology, which is pursuing its course of internationalisation with this addition.
“There is no such thing as the Indian climate”, explains Dr Nicholas Matten. “On the contrary, the subcontinent is influenced by four climate zones: subtropical on the east coast and in the south, Mediterranean on the west coast with humid summer months, a desert climate with hot days and cold nights in the centre and the west, and lastly the Himalayan climate in the north with extremely cold temperatures.” Initially the business will concentrate on solutions for hot water – single-phase and three-phase instantaneous water heaters, small water heaters, wall-mounted and free-standing cylinders and heat pumps for domestic hot water. Distributed ventilation with heat recovery and air filtration are also to be included in view of the poor air quality, for instance in New Delhi. Depending on the region, the heat exchanger function will be used for cooling as well. “In the long term, we also intend to market heat pumps for space heating in colder regions”, says Dr Matten.
The regional subsidiary will announce its official launch at the Acetech trade fair, together with one of the new partners, which ranks among the top 20 distributors in India and has an extensive network across the country.

Focus Money singles out “Germany’s most innovative businesses”
Stiebel Eltron, the German heating manufacturer, has now been awarded the “2017 Innovation Prize”. Posts on social media about the 5,000 German companies with the largest workforces were evaluated over a period from January to December 2016. The focus was on statements about the following five subjects: innovation, investment, research & development, new products and technology.
“Our goal is to develop sustainable solutions for our customers when it comes to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning. That’s why we are even more pleased that consumers are showing an appreciation for our endeavours”, says Dr Nicholas Matten, managing director for sales, marketing and finance. “We couldn’t have been given better feedback.”
The survey was conducted on behalf of Deutschland Test and Focus Money for the first time. After evaluating several million consumer reviews, businesses were classified according to sector in order to ensure a fair comparison. Those businesses in first place set the benchmark at 100 points. In addition to Stiebel Eltron in the sector for electrical appliances, brands such as BMW, Amazon, IKEA or Adidas set the benchmark in other sector rankings.
According to a study by the consultants PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), the most innovative firms can on average anticipate over three times the growth in sales than less innovative competitors over the next five years.
